Questions
Is HisaabRakho free?
Yes, you can sign up and start logging right now. If we ever add paid features, we will say so clearly first.
Does it connect to my bank or read my SMS?
No. HisaabRakho never asks for bank logins and never reads your messages. You log entries yourself, and when you pay, the payment happens inside your own UPI app.
Can it confirm that my UPI payment went through?
Not automatically: UPI apps don't tell other apps whether a payment succeeded. So a payment you start is saved as pending, and you confirm it with one tap when you are back.
Which UPI apps work?
Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, CRED, BHIM and others installed on your phone. On iPhone you pick the app you want to open.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser. For an app-like icon on your home screen, use “Add to Home Screen” in Safari or Chrome. There is a short guide on the install page.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we send a 6-digit code. There is no password to remember or leak.
Who can see my spending?
Only you. Your entries are tied to your account and are not shared or sold. Read the privacy page for the details.
